the National Weather Service in louisville has issued a

* tornado warning for, 
 southwestern clark county in east central kentucky, 
 southern fayette county in east central kentucky, 
 southeastern jessamine county in east central kentucky, 
 northern madison county in east central kentucky... 

* until 100 PM EST... 

* at 1225 PM EST, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a
 severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. this dangerous
 storm was located near pink, moving east at 50 mph.

* this tornadic storm will also impact, 
 stringtown and baldwin, 
 blue grass and hillcrest, 
 redhouse and jackson ferry, 
 olivers and doylesville... 

this includes interstate 75 in kentucky between mile markers 95 and
99.

precautionary/preparedness actions... 

motorists should "not" take shelter under highway overpasses. as a last
resort, either park your vehicle and stay put, or abandon your
vehicle and lie down in a low lying area.

to report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. they will relay your report to the National Weather Service
in louisville.
