the National Weather Service in louisville has issued a

* severe thunderstorm warning for, 
 western bourbon county in east central kentucky, 
 northern fayette county in east central kentucky, 
 southern scott county in east central kentucky, 
 this includes the city of georgetown... 

* until 430 PM EDT

* at 402 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported a severe
 thunderstorm producing quarter size hail.  this storm was located
 near great crossing, moving east at 40 mph.

* the severe thunderstorm will also impact, 
 georgetown, 
 newtown and new zion, 
 loradale and centerville, 
 jimtown... 

precautionary/preparedness actions... 

report severe weather to local law enforcement and have them relay
your report to the National Weather Service in louisville.
