Winter Weather Advisory now In Effect Until 9 AM EST This
Morning... 

the winter weather advisory is now in effect until 9 AM EST this
morning. 

* timing: light snow and flurries will continue through the early
 morning hours. 

* main impact: rapidly falling temperatures and light snow have
 made area roadways slick. storm total snow accumulations will
 total around one inch.

* other impacts: the combination of light snow on top of frozen
 wet roadways may lead to hazardous driving conditions across the
 area. 

precautionary/preparedness actions... 

a winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
