the National Weather Service in louisville has issued a

* severe thunderstorm warning for, 
 northwestern fayette county in east central kentucky, 
 this includes the city of lexington, 
 eastern franklin county in east central kentucky, 
 southern scott county in east central kentucky, 
 this includes the city of georgetown, 
 northern woodford county in east central kentucky... 

* until 615 PM EDT

* at 537 PM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a
 severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail, and
 damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.  this storm was located near
 duckers, moving east at 30 mph.

* the severe thunderstorm will also impact, 
 georgetown, 
 u k arboretum, 
 thoroughbred acres, 
 northland, 
 meadowthorpe, 
 davistown and faywood, 
 paynes depot and zion hill, 
 yarnallton and bracktown, 
 spindletop estates and donerail...
