the National Weather Service in louisville has issued a

* severe thunderstorm warning for, 
 eastern anderson county in east central kentucky, 
 western fayette county in east central kentucky, 
 jessamine county in east central kentucky, 
 northeastern mercer county in east central kentucky, 
 southern woodford county in east central kentucky... 

* until 630 PM EDT

* at 557 PM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a
 severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess
 of 60 mph.  this storm was located near mcbrayer, moving east at
 45 mph. penny size hail may also accompany these damaging winds.

* the severe thunderstorm will also impact, 
 nicholasville, 
 south lawrenceburg, 
 oregon and ebenezer, 
 mortonsville and nonesuch, 
 dixon town and keene, 
 nealton and jessamine...
