the National Weather Service in louisville has issued a

* severe thunderstorm warning for, 
 southwestern bourbon county in east central kentucky, 
 northern fayette county in east central kentucky, 
 this includes the city of lexington, 
 southern scott county in east central kentucky, 
 this includes the city of georgetown, 
 northeastern woodford county in east central kentucky... 

* until 340 PM EDT

* at 307 PM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a
 severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail, and
 damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.  this storm was located near
 midway, moving east at 40 mph.

* the severe thunderstorm will also impact, 
 georgetown, 
 bryan station, 
 versailles, 
 thoroughbred acres, 
 northland, 
 donerail and spindletop estates, 
 mattoxtown and new zion, 
 elmendorf and muir, 
 hutchison and monterey...
