the National Weather Service in louisville has issued a

* severe thunderstorm warning for, 
 southern fayette county in east central kentucky, 
 northwestern garrard county in east central kentucky, 
 jessamine county in east central kentucky, 
 northwestern madison county in east central kentucky, 
 mercer county in east central kentucky, 
 southern woodford county in east central kentucky... 

* until 750 PM EDT

* at 716 PM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a
 line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in
 excess of 60 mph.  these storms were located along a line extending
 from dugansville to blue grass, moving south at 35 mph.

* severe thunderstorms will also impact, 
 richmond, 
 nicholasville, 
 harrodsburg, 
 cornishville and pollard, 
 hillcrest and pink, 
 dixville and stewart, 
 nevada and bourne... 

precautionary/preparedness actions... 

excessive lightning is occurring with this storm. move indoors
immediately! stay away from windows.
