the National Weather Service in louisville has issued a

* severe thunderstorm warning for, 
 western fayette county in east central kentucky, 
 southwestern scott county in east central kentucky, 
 northeastern woodford county in east central kentucky... 

* until 410 PM EDT

* at 340 PM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a
 severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail, and
 damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.  this storm was located near
 wallace, moving east at 15 mph.

* the severe thunderstorm will also impact, 
 dunbar high school, 
 versailles, 
 wallace, 
 davistown and firmantown, 
 zion hill and faywood, 
 elk chester and herdon... 

precautionary/preparedness actions... 

excessive lightning is occurring with this storm. move indoors
immediately! stay away from windows.
