the National Weather Service in louisville has issued a

* severe thunderstorm warning for, 
 southwestern bourbon county in east central kentucky, 
 western clark county in east central kentucky, 
 fayette county in east central kentucky, 
 this includes the city of lexington, 
 jessamine county in east central kentucky, 
 northwestern madison county in east central kentucky, 
 eastern woodford county in east central kentucky... 

* until 455 PM EDT

* at 406 PM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a
 line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter size
 hail, and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.  these storms were
 located along a line extending from midway to wilmore, moving east
 at 15 mph.

excessive lightning is occurring with this storm. move indoors 
immediately! stay away from windows.

* severe thunderstorms will also impact, 
 veterans park, 
 fayette mall, 
 u k arboretum, 
 dunbar high school, 
 bryan station, 
 little texas and keene, 
 blue grass airport and jessamine, 
 nealton and yarnallton, 
 vineyard and viley...
